Event Invitation | Mental Health and the Environment | 27 January 2021

Mental Health Europe (MHE) is delighted to invite you to an online event about mental health and the environment.

Organised by the Coalition for Mental Health and Wellbeing in the European Parliament, MHE and the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) the event will take place online on 27 January 2021 from 10:30 – 12:00 CET.

The discussion will focus on how to reflect the interlinkage between the state of the natural environment and people’s mental health in European policies. On top of that, the event will see the official launch of the mental health and environment policy paper and a policy brief by the IEEP and Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal).

The event will bring together the European Parliament Coalition for Mental Health and Wellbeing and other interested MEPs, European Commission (including DG ENV, DG SANTE, DG RTD, DG REGIO), Member States’ permanent representations, and other relevant stakeholders from environment and health sectors.

Please note that registrations have reached maximum capacity so if you’re unable to join the webinar through Zoom, the event will be live-streamed. You could watch it live on Mental Health Europe’s YouTube or this web page. Please send your questions and join the conversation on Twitter via #MHEnvironment.
