We are delighted to share the news that Kristijan Grđan, a Board member of Mental Health Europe (MHE), has joined the Technical Advisory Group on the mental health impacts of COVID-19 in the WHO European Region.

The group of experts will review available evidence on mental health impacts of COVID-19 in the WHO European Region at the population, policy, service and individual level. The aim is to estimate rates of stress and mental ill-health, document policy responses and service disruptions/changes and to understand the impact of the pandemic on citizens and ways of coping. In addition, the advisory group will identify remaining gaps in the evidence base and map emergent needs and implications for mental health service development to strengthen existing systems and integrate findings in recovery efforts to the pandemic.
