The key topic is the relationship between the therapist, the patient and the family: this topic pertains to the three entities that take part in the treatment and allows for analytical research from the three perspectives. Another topic is community treatment programs, ranging from comprehensive practice to specific, creative, good practice, in the light of research results. Next, rehabilitation and employment will be discussed, with special attention paid to rehabilitation through work and housing. The fourth topic is coercion and stigma, which pose a special challenge to all professionals engaged in community oriented mental health programs or services.

  <p>The Correlation Network links together different initiatives to fight marginalisation and exclusion of vulnerable populations. The conference is planned to cover a broad range of topics, targeting mainly the issue of limited access to health and social services for marginalised groups. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange information in the field of research, policy and practice, join skill building sessions on issues related to access to health and social services, participate in the debate between service users and policy makers, discuss innovative approaches and new ways of cooperation, and get an overview on the activities of the Correlation Network.
The conference will include a panel discussion on increasing access to health care for Roma.</p>

•	Implementation: helping develop dissemination, implementation and management plans;
•	Financing: supporting strategies for financing action and strengthening management systems across Europe;
•	Building capacity and training: strengthening policy and advocacy development, and networking.

  <p>This IASP (International Association for Suicide Prevention) congress will deal with the concerns at the increase in suicide and the many aspects of dealing with this social and medical tragedy. 
The advances urgently needed in research into "why", into prevention and postventions are challenges for mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and the bereaved by suicide. The attendance of international expertise from the complexity of areas of the subject at Killarney will ensure a sharing of a broad range of expertise and experience through a variety of symposia, workshops and parallel and plenary session.

  <p><em>13th International Congress of the European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, "Bridging the gaps – Integrating perspectives in child and adolescent mental health" - Florence(Italy)</em></p>
  <p>The advancements in neuroscience, as well as the development of an imperative for evidence-based medicine have created dramatically new challenges for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
The 13th International Congress of ESCAP will be designed to offer clinicians, researchers, health workers, and others interested in the welfare of children and adolescents with a genuine appreciation of contemporary and appropriate methods of assessment and intervention. The program will be especially sensitive to the fact that the developmental periods of childhood and adolescence represent a crucial time for timely diagnostic evaluation and for the implementation of effective treatments.
The themes for this congress will include, among others, developmental neuroscience, assessment instruments, treatments and treatment effectiveness and many other varied issues that will be addressed at a highly scientific, yet clinically relevant level

This year's congress theme is "Impact of Culture on Mental Health: East meet West". Post-congress workshops will also be arranged in major cities in Mainland China to promote cultural exchange and exposure for the delegates from both the East and West.
