Our members

Our  members are organisations and individuals from all over Europe, with different kinds of mental health interests, experiences, expertise and responsibilities, who form an equal partnership. The membership includes user organisations, volunteers and professional organisations working at the regional, national and European level. Their goal is to work jointly towards creating a Europe where people with mental health problems have equal opportunities and can actively build their future.

Mental Health Europe has 3 types of membership:

They set the policies, guidelines and priorities and make ongoing contributions to its activities. Full members have voting rights; each full member association will have 4 votes. They will have the right to stand for election to the Board and other organisational structures of the association. Full members shall be informed and consulted on an ongoing basis about the activities of the Association

Supporting member organisations: Supporting members are regional and local associations active in the mental health field, associations with a limited scope in mental health or working in the field of a single disorder, professional associations, research or training institutions in the mental health field or European associations active in the mental health field.Their objective is to support and advise MHE in specific issues. Supporting members have voting rights; each supporting member will have 2 votes. They can take part in the work of the MHE Committees following the rules set out in the Internal Rules. Supporting members do not have the right to stand for elections to the Board of the association.
