Mental Health Europe

I.Name and Status

Article 1

The organisation shall be known as " Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe, European Regional Council of the World Federation for Mental Health - Conseil Régional Européen de la Fédération Mondiale pour la Santé Mentale ", hereafter called "Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe" and abbreviated "MHE-SME".It shall be an international non-profit making organisation which shall hereafter be governed by the Statutes and by the Belgian law of 25 October 1919, amended by the law of 6 December 1954, applying to international organisations with pedagogical, artistic, scientific, religious and philanthropic objectives. The application of the present Statutes will be determined by Regulations. These Regulations may only be altered by the General Assembly.
Article 2

The headquarters of the organisation shall be established at Boulevard Clovis 7, B-1000 Brussels, Belgium.
The headquarters may be transferred to any other place in Belgium by simple decision of the Board of Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe, published within one month in the annexes of the "Belgian Monitor".
Article 3

The duration of the association is unlimited.
It may be dissolved in accordance with the provisions of article 26 of these Statutes.
