III. Membership

• Article 6

  There shall be three forms of membership :
  
  a) Full member
  b) Associate member
  c) Individual member

• Article 7

  Membership of all categories shall be by application to the Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe Secretariat, according to the procedures determined in the Regulations.

• Article 8

  Full Members : are all national, regional or local organisations active in the field of mental health in Europe which wish to fully participate. They must have legal status conform to the laws and customs in their own country.

• Article 9

  Associate Members : are all national, regional or local organisations active in the field of mental health in Europe which wish to support Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe. They must have legal status conform to the laws and customs in their own country.

• Article 10

  Individual Members : are all physical persons resident in Europe who wish to support Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe.

• Article 11

  All members will be required to pay a fee or subscription as determined by the General Assembly of Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe.

• Article 12

  All members shall adhere to the Statutes of Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe . Decisions relevant to EU-matters shall be made only by members from EU-countries.

• Article 13

  Members may terminate their membership at any time by notice of resignation to the Board of Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe.Membership may be terminated at any time by a resolution of the Board of Mental Health Europe - Santé Mentale Europe. An appeal against termination may be made to the General Assembly whose decision is final.
