Develops European exchange projects on crucial mental health issues : mental health promotion, non discrimination, social inclusion of people with mental health problems, employment, homeless people, etc.

Promotes and supports its member organisations in their development and their struggle for acknowledgement and funding

Offers a structure and support to find partner organisations for collaboration and for exchange of knowledge and experiences

Is a forum for exchange and information on health and social policies in the mental health field

Develops and formulates policies and strategies on mental health issues

Lobbies the European institutions in order to raise the profile of mental health

Organises meetings, seminars and conferences

Publishes a monthly Newsletter and produces reports and position papers.
