Summary

This project is based on the successful work of the German 'Nuremberg Alliance against Depression'.

Objectives

To address the severe diagnostic and therapeutic deficits concerning depression by conducting intervention programmes in 18 countries.

Outcomes

1) A catalogue of best practices was set up for the 4 level intervention programmes;

2) Some partners have carried out concrete intervention programmes against depression (Iceland, Switzerland, France);

3) Some partners have worked on campaign materials (Belgium, Ireland, Slovenia);

4) Some partners have trained experts for further education on depression (Italy);

5) A website was created that informs the public about the project and allows an easy exchange of information and documents for project partners.
