OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

Develop a training package in the field of mental health in order to improve the impact of social services offered to people with mental health problems

Develop information, guidance and facilitate exchange of knowledge in the field of mental health

Promote the training network in order to inspire lifelong learning among the partner countries.
MAIN ACTIVITIES

Develop and test a training course for mental health for a target audience made up of: staff working in the field of mental health (doctors, nurses, etc), representatives of local administration (public social services) and other institutions (policy, universities), graduates of social science universities, volunteers and mental health service users and their family members

Train 15 trainers from partner countries

Develop tools and methods for the assessment, validation and certification

Develop marketing, promotion and awareness campaigns
OUTPUTS

Develop an extensive training course and training pack for mental health including the following topics: (1) the risk of social exclusion and discrimination, (2) employment, (3) stress management, (4) effective care co-ordination, social services available, (3) working with mental health problems, (7) risk factors for mental health problems, (8) motivational interviewing, (9) mental health information for primary care staff, (10) supervision in social care work

Create an electronic international forum of people able to disseminate information and materials in their own countries and other EU and non EU countries

Train 15 trainers from the partners countries able to work in international teams

Involve at least 600 people of the target groups

Set up training centred for mental health in Poland, Czech Republic and Romania
