Our committees

MHE has currently a Committee which provides assistance and advice on human rights area : Committee on Mental Health and Human Rights,

These Committees are composed of members from at least four European countries and representatives of member organisations and individual members having proven expertise in the specific subject area. Each Committee also includes at least one member of the MHE Board.

The Committee met  on 7 August 2008, during the MHE 2008 Annual Conference "Diversity in Mental Health and Wellbeing - An Opportunity for Intercultural Dialogue" (Aalborg, Denmark, 7-9 August 2008) and also in June 2009 during MHE General Assembly.

This yearly meeting represents an opportunity to assess the Committee's achievements, debate on current relevant topics, as well as decide on new activities and actions to undertake.
