Press release on EU 2020 Strategy: poverty target and disability (16/06/2010)

MHE sent two separate letters to Heads of State and governements in order to support the approval of a poverty target in the EU 2020 Strategy and to encourage the Heads of State to adopt mainstreaming disability measures in the Strategy during the European Council, taking place on 17-18 June 2010. Letter of Support for European Year of Combating Violence against Women (19/05/2010)

MHE sent a letter to MEPs in support of the establishment of an European Year of Combating Violence against Women.
The Written Declaration 20/2010 re. the European Year is co-signed by MEPs from the majority of the European political groups: Barbara Matera (EPP), Marije Cornelissen (Greens/ALE), Ilda Figueiredo (GUE), Antonyia Parvanova (ALDE) and Marc Tarabella (S&D). Statement on the UN Convention on the rights of Persons with Disabilities (14/04/2010)
